School Closings

  The School will be closed Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 for Independence Day weekend. Saturday, June 12 classes are canceled for our annual summer picnic. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there! Classes will also be canceled on Tuesday, July 15 for testing. Please see your instructor to find out if you are eligible to test.

Introducing the Master Khechen MMA Team

Beginning in June MMA/ Grappling classes will be held twice every month. These Classes will teach various mixed martial arts and grappling techniques. Any student over the age of 13 is encouraged to sign up at the front desk to reserve their spot on the team. In July classes are on Friday, July 11 and Fiday, July 25 from 7:15pm to 8:15pm.

 Exam Night

Come see our exam night at the Buffalo school on Tuesday, July 15. There will be no scheduled classes. If you are testing your application is due by Friday, July 11. Exam times will be announced in class and are on your applications. If you will be coming to watch, please show your support by wearing a Master Khechen School uniform or T-Shirt! All family and friends are welcome to watch and particpate in this unforgettable night! 

Buddy Week

This month we will be hosting a special VIP Buddy Week.  Students may bring a friend to any basic class from Monday, July 21 to Saturday, July 26. Beginning July 1 everytime you bring a buddy with you to take class on a buddy day you will earn 4 tickets to enter into our Summer Ticket Madness Silo. You can also earn tickets by bringing a buddy to Parents Night Out. This Month Batman Parent's Night Out will be held on Friday July 18 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Summer Ticket Madness !

Throughout the months of July and August students will be awarded various numbers of raffle tickets for accomplishing different tasks and participating in school events. These raffle tickets will then be entered into the Ticket Madness Silo.  Students can earn raffle tickets by completing tasks as simple as attending class for 1 ticket or attending school events for 2 tickets. Bringing a Buddy to School events or Buddy Days is awarded with 3-4 tickets. If your buddy then signs up to take TKD lessons with you you will earn and additional 5 tickets to enter into the Silo. You can also earn 5 tickets by attending the August 2nd Tournament.The Drawing will be held on August 28. 10 tickets will be drawn from the Silo and the accompanying ticket holder will win increasingly valuable prizes ranging from a $250 gift certificate for the Boulevard Mall to Master Khechen School Merchandice.

Red Cross Student Blood Drive

All students ages 17 and up are encouraged to participate in the Red Cross Student Blood Drive on Sunday, July 20.  

Mini Summer Camps

In the month of July we will be holding two Mini Summer Camps. Sparring Boot Camp will be held Friday, July 25 from 8am - 4pm. Weapons Boot Camp featuring Bo and Kama will be held on Friday, July 18 from 8am-4pm. These Boot Camps will be a fun day with the instructors learning new advanced techniques to place you above the competition for our upcoming August 2 tournament.
