Common Questions
What style of Martial Arts do you teach?
We have programs for students as young as 3 years old, and each program's curriculum is age-specific to their needs.
Will Martial Arts training make my child aggressive?
We teach Martial Arts to children as a way of developing strength and character, not as a fighting art. We constantly teach our students that what they learn in class is for defense only, and that the ultimate goal of the Martial Artist is to avoid fighting whenever possible.
Am I too old to start training?
Absolutely not. We have many students who have come to us in their 60's and 70's with absolutely no martial arts experience. In fact, the older you are, the more benefits you may see from our programs as they increase muscle tone, flexibility, circulation and overall health.
I'm out of shape or have no experience, can I start training?
We have beginner classes specifically designed for students who have no Martial Arts training or are out of shape. These classes will build your cardiovascular conditioning, strength, balance and flexibility. In fact, these classes are such a great workout and are so much fun, many of our advanced students still love to take them!
Will I get hurt?
Injuries are extremely rare in our program. In fact, taking our classes is a lot safer than training on your own, since each of our classes is taught by certified instructor who puts your safety as their top priority.
Do I have to wait for a specific date to enroll?
